Students can prepare for the session by reviewing the content of the training session in advance. A description and additional files and images can be added to each training session in your curriculum. Pre-flight briefing has never been more relevant. This dramatically improves student progress and avoids costly hiccups in your programme.
At the end of the training session the instructor will complete the assessment. The student is then notified on their app to sign off and provide feedback if needed. That way, the HOT is able to anticipate what’s happening in their training facility, #no-hashtags-required.
Mistakes do happen, so tutors may be allowed to update the mark. To ensure compliance, the student will be asked to sign off again. Don’t wait for your CAA to tell you that you should do this.
We know you’re a pilot, so you can’t be there all the time. That is why we have made it easy for you to follow the entire training program remotely. Whether you’re in a hotel room in Ulaanbaatar, Kigali or Copenhagen, you’ll be close to your instructors when they need you. You have a dedicated overview of each student’s current training status. You can see where they are excelling and where they are falling behind. If they are struggling with a particular skill, you can assign them to your specialist instructor for a session to get them back on track. And if you don’t know who is the specialist in teaching spin recovery, Aviatize will be able to tell you soon enough. Before flying, the Specialist can pull up the Student’s File and see their entire history, allowing the Specialist to know where to start.
On the left you will see all the next sessions for your students. You can then simply drag and drop them onto the different aircraft in the schedule or let Aviatize suggest them for you. Assign instructors and you’re ready to go. Once the schedule for the next week or month is ready, you can complete the batch planning session in one go and everyone will be notified of the plans.
Not all schools need batch scheduling, sometimes people just call in to schedule a few new sessions. Administrators can go directly to the timeline and schedule sessions with a few simple clicks. Teachers and students are immediately notified of the new flights.
Students can be managed in classrooms, classroom training can be run where you can choose to simply monitor attendance or even add a grade for each student. This is very useful for keeping track of theory test results. The theory instructor can add attendance and marks for all students from one simple screen.
